Fear the overpaid garbage they use as a 2nd line Center in that stink hole Toronto. On a real hockey team Grabovsky would have a hard time being a 4th line center.

I think we should give this one to Toronto. Kind of feel bad for them after yesterday loss. I mean why bother playing this game it is useless and both these teams are done. I say they take the night off have the goalies sit on the bench and see how many goals they can score

How can u attempt to write a negative article about the Islanders and butcher it? He is dumber than a box of hair. He actually brought up the 2008 draft. Yeah we really missed on that draft by taking Bailey ... um You said after the draft we should have taken Filitov.. u and everyone else. by moving down we got more picks.. and in that draft.. Ulstrom, Matt Martin, Poulin, Donovan, Ness, and oh yeah.. Hamonic... moron.

also have Petrov from that draft. I hate brooks.

He may be a moron and a complete Ranger homer, but you can't argue with the point of the article: the team has become irrelevant. Basically, his completely unsolicited, unprovoked and probably insignificant ripping of the organization and the decision making was not all that inaccurate. They have one good line. lots of young players regressed. They did pass on good (arguably better) players to take Nino and Bailey and force-fed them to the NHL when they weren't ready for salary cap/floor purposes.

The rest of the picks they had in that draft were not all obtained because they chose to trade down in the first round. They still could have taken their guys with the picks they already had. the added picks basically allowed them to take a chance on Petrov (who still isn't here). They also missed on Trivino, Toews, and Niemi in 2008.

The funny thing about the Bailey pick was we even traded down for him. Now we did better players out of that but to trade for Bailey who was suppose be the big piece was just not a good call

Bailey was not a great selection in 2008. I don't think the Isles had a bad draft in 2008, but Bailey wasn't a good selection. The rest of the picks they had in that draft were not all obtained because they chose to trade down in the first round. They still could have taken their guys with the picks they already had. the added picks basically allowed them to take a chance on Petrov (who still isn't here). They also missed on Trivino, Toews, and Niemi in 2008.

3 missed in a draft we picked 13.. heck of a draft. Bailey is 21 and is far better than Filatov and moving down is the reason we were able to get 13 picks. Brooks is a Moron b/c there is a MILLION things u can say about the Islanders. They have made some horrible moves this year.

Hopefully that ends up getting changed with the new CBA. It's such a horsesh!t rule, it makes no sense. It either essentially A) rushes kids out of school or B) let's players drafted by teams that they don't like essentially pick and choose who they get to play for.

Can't say I'm surprised by Lee, I always read that he placed a big importance on his education.
